Liz stood for ages, breathing the thick warm air, listening to the tinkly jungle sounds, day dreaming, not moving an inch from the shack. Then bang. Black. Nightfall had fallen.

They were away. The boat wanted to go in circles. The water leapt up every which way. The oars tried to whack you on the head. And the feeling in your stomach was just like you could see in the river - swishing, leaping, splashing. Wow. So exciting.
